MAKING WAVES

SeaChange provide independent consultancy to services across London and Essex.

Johanna Merry leads the SeaChange team, working as a consultant, mentor, advocate and trainer; often blending these skills to provide a unique service to social care organisations, charities and educational settings.  We collaborate with senior managers and within teams to improve performance and transform services. SeaChange has successfully supported many organisations going through significant change as the social care landscape evolves.

Johanna has also worked for Barnardos for 25 years and has co-founded many well established services including a pioneering advocacy project in the 1990’s and many innovative drama projects. Johanna serves as a trustee on a local charity and has established numerous key projects in the local areas. She has 20 years experience of direct advocacy work including several Court of Protection cases, complex safeguarding cases as well as complex sexuality issues.
